About Dr. Knox

Dr. Knox is an anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician who focuses on offering a compassionate and comprehensive plan for optimal pain treatment for a variety of painful conditions. Additionally, his expertise in pharmacology, with a particular focus on pain medications, allows him to tailor pharmacologic therapy for his patients.

Dr. Knox’s comprehensive approach to care comes from his vast and varied experience. Dr. Knox’s medical journey began when he earned his Respiratory Therapy degree before attending St. George's University School of Medicine. Following this time, he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at New York Medical College, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Knox went on to complete his pain management fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD., where he trained in minimally invasive pain interventions. Afterwards, he continued on to become a pain management specialist and anesthesiologist at Westchester Medical Center, where he specializes in non-opioid based interventional pain management techniques to alleviate patient suffering. Dr. Nigel Knox is currently an Assistant Professor at New York Medical College.

The Knox Pain Management clinic was constructed by Dr. Knox personally, with the focus directed towards maintaining effective, efficient patient care. Initiating an independent pain management practice, has allowed practice guidelines to be structured around providing a complete patient care experience from consultation to intervention. Through his experience Dr. Knox has found that true empathy and focused patient education leads to the best patient outcomes and strongest relationships. This approach is the standard of care in the Knox Pain Management clinic.
